International Marketing Specialist
Mission
The International Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the commercialization and lifecycle management of assigned products and franchises across international markets. This role develops and executes marketing strategies, promotional initiatives, and cross-functional projects to drive business growth, maximize product performance, and achieve sales and profitability objectives. The Specialist ensures all activities are conducted in accordance with Grifols' Compliance and Integrity policies.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Support the development and execution of strategic marketing plans, promotional campaigns, budgets, and business objectives for assigned products and franchises.
Develop and implement marketing initiatives that strengthen product positioning and support commercial objectives across international markets.
Coordinate the creation and delivery of marketing materials, promotional content, and digital campaigns, including the use of AI-powered marketing tools where appropriate.
Provide strategic and operational marketing support to regional affiliates, including business case development and implementation guidance.
Lead or co-lead the planning and execution of international and regional congresses, conferences, and promotional events.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and Compliance & Integrity standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Launch & Lifecycle Management, Global Commercial Services, and regional Business Units to execute marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with country teams to identify market needs, gather customer insights, and translate feedback into actionable marketing strategies.
Support product launch and lifecycle management activities through effective cross-functional coordination.
Business Analysis & Planning
Support the Long-Range Planning (LRP) process and assist in the management of the annual operating budget (OPEX) for assigned products.
Monitor marketing performance and provide insights to optimize investments and business results.
Contribute to sales forecasting for Europe, IBAM, and MEAA regions to support demand planning and inventory management.
Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and commercial performance to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience
1–2 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Product Management, Commercial Excellence, or a related business function.
Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry is preferred.
Languages
English – Advanced (required)
Spanish – Advanced (required)
Portuguese is a plus.

Working Conditions
Hybrid work model based in São Paulo, Brazil.
International travel required on an occasional basis (less than 15%).

Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
