Senior UX Designer
About the role
Do you love untangling messy experiences and turning them into something people can actually navigate? Can you back up a design decision with logic, not just gut feel? Are you as comfortable running a stakeholder workshop as you are staring at a sitemap for three hours straight?
Then, our Senior UX Designer role here at CUBE84 may interest you.
In this gig,
You're the detective before you're the designer
You review existing websites and digital products with a critical eye, digging into usability issues, content gaps, and missed opportunities. You don't just say "this is confusing" - you can point to exactly why, and what to do about it.
You turn chaos into structure
You run UX audits, competitor reviews, and analytics deep-dives, then translate all of it into user journeys, sitemaps, information architecture, and content structures that actually make sense to someone who's never seen the project before.
You wireframe with intent, not decoration
You build low and mid fidelity wireframes that define how an experience should work before anyone touches visual design. Every screen you hand off has a reason behind it - you know the difference between "it looks fine" and "it works."
You run the room, not just the file
You lead meetings, design reviews, and stakeholder discussions, keeping conversations focused instead of letting them spiral into an hour of opinions with no outcome. You present your thinking with confidence and can defend a decision when someone pushes back.
You hand off clean, not confusing
You work closely with UI designers to make sure your wireframes and structure translate smoothly into visual design - no guessing games, no "wait, what did you mean by this box."
You own the discovery-to-wireframe runway
You manage projects independently, juggling timelines, priorities, and client expectations across multiple engagements - gathering requirements, clarifying goals, and aligning everyone on the proposed experience along the way.
You stay curious, not stagnant
You keep up with UX trends, emerging tech, and AI tools - and you use them to speed up your process without losing your own judgment in the mix.
It'll be awesome if you..
Have 4+ years of experience designing websites, portals, or digital products
Have a portfolio that shows your actual process - UX audits, competitor analysis, sitemaps, IA, user flows, wireframes, and the thinking behind each call
Have a strong grip on UX principles, information architecture, content organization, interaction patterns, and accessibility best practices
Can back up design decisions with analytics and qualitative insight, not just instinct
Can simplify a genuinely messy problem into something intuitive (this one's non-negotiable)
Have the communication chops to lead meetings and hold your own when someone challenges your design thinking
Can deliver quality work under deadline pressure across more than one project at a time
Are comfortable using AI tools to speed up research and documentation, while still applying your own judgment
More awesome, if you have
Agency or consulting experience working across multiple clients
Experience designing enterprise websites, portals, or platforms with multiple user types
Experience working with design systems, alongside UI designers and developers
