Application Developer - Salesforce

Job Purpose and Impact

The Professional, Application Development job maintains, integrates and implements software applications within the organization. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, integrations, and Salesforce configuration/customization. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, administrators, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality Salesforce solutions.

Key Accountabilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.

Implement business requirements through declarative and programmatic Salesforce development.

Develop Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex, and Integration Services.

Create and maintain Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, and Reports/Dashboards.

Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Middleware solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring platform stability & follow Salesforce development best practices.

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for solutions and integrations

Preferred Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I (Mandatory), Platform Developer II (Preferred), Salesforce Administrator Certification, App Builder Certification

Qualifications

Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 4- 6 years of relevant experience.
