Senior U.S. Tax Accountant (Remote – Mexico)

Danny Palacios, CPA is seeking an experienced Senior U.S. Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position for professionals with strong technical knowledge of U.S. taxation and experience reviewing tax returns and leading teams.

Responsibilities

Review U.S. tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065).

Review bookkeeping and financial statements.

Supervise, mentor, and train junior accountants.

Communicate directly with clients in English.

Research and resolve complex tax issues.

Assist with tax planning projects.

Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of client work.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of recent experience in U.S. taxation.

Proven experience reviewing U.S. tax returns.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Experience with QuickBooks Online.

Experience using ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake, or similar tax software.

Availability to work during U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

U.S. CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus, but not required.

Experience leading or supervising accounting teams.

Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses.
