About the Opportunity

As a Salesforce Developer, you will develop and customise solutions related to customer and partner data management, registration, approval processes, and web front-end applications.

You will participate throughout the complete solution lifecycle - from requirements gathering and technical design to implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

You will collaborate with international teams and stakeholders across Europe, India, and the United States, including business areas, IT teams, ERP specialists, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customise Salesforce applications for customer and partner data management.

Build solutions supporting registration, approval, and onboarding processes.

Develop and maintain web front-end applications within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Gather and analyse functional and technical requirements.

Translate complex business processes into scalable Salesforce solutions.

Participate in solution design and technical decision-making.

Configure Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, validation rules, security settings, Flows, and reports.

Develop backend logic using Apex classes and triggers.

Build responsive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Design data models aligned with business and integration requirements.

Integrate Salesforce with external platforms using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs.

Apply API-led connectivity and enterprise integration practices.

Implement workflow automation using Salesforce Flow and Process Builder.

Support deployments and environment configuration.

Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD workflows.

Use version control and deployment pipelines to manage application changes.

Troubleshoot configuration, automation, data, and integration issues.

Collaborate with Finance, Sales, IT, ERP, and other cross-functional teams.

Coordinate technical activities and dependencies with external vendors.

Communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement and adoption of new Salesforce features.

Mandatory Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer.

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.

Practical experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Community Portals.

Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.

Strong knowledge of Salesforce Platform fundamentals, including objects, fields, relationships, security models, workflows, and automation.

Advanced experience with Apex classes and triggers.

Strong experience developing Lightning Web Components.

Practical knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL.

Experience configuring validation rules, Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and reports.

Understanding of Salesforce data architecture and data-modelling practices.

Experience with REST API, SOAP API, and Bulk API.

Knowledge of API-led connectivity and integration patterns.

Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD workflows.

Ability to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Fluent English.

Availability to attend the Porto/Gaia office approximately 3–4 times per month.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.

Experience with MuleSoft or another integration middleware platform.

Practical experience with Git.

Experience using DevOps pipelines and Salesforce deployment tools.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes.

Experience with Revenue Cloud, subscriptions, or billing-related processes.

Experience supporting customer, partner, or supplier registration processes.

Previous experience in the automotive or automotive technology sector.

Experience collaborating with international and cross-regional teams.

Experience coordinating work with external vendors.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Senior Salesforce Developer who combines strong technical development capabilities with a solid understanding of business processes and customer experience.

You are comfortable working across the complete Salesforce delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, integration, deployment, and support. You can develop robust Apex and Lightning Web Components solutions while also understanding security, data modelling, automation, and integration architecture.

You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaborate effectively with international teams, and can manage multiple priorities in complex projects. You are proactive, adaptable, customer-focused, and capable of aligning technical feasibility with business expectations.
