PCCS Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Branch Manager – Operations to lead end-to-end fleet, transportation, and branch-level logistics operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of operational execution, fleet management, cost optimization, vendor management, and data-driven decision-making to drive branch performance, service quality, and profitability.

This role suits a hands-on operator who has managed large, multi-vehicle fleets, driven measurable efficiency and cost improvements, and can independently run branch operations with full accountability for performance, compliance, and P&L outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage end-to-end branch operations including fleet allocation, route planning, dispatch, and delivery performance.

● Own and optimize fleet operations for a large vehicle base - onboarding, scheduling, real-time tracking, and utilization efficiency.

● Drive P&L performance for the branch, including cost-per-kilometer (CPKM) tracking, budget management, and cost-reduction initiatives.

● Design and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for vehicle allocation, route planning, and quality control.

● Monitor turnaround times (TAT), SLA compliance, and service-level performance; resolve escalations and delays in real time.

● Manage vendor relationships including transport contractors, tyre/maintenance vendors, and third-party fleet partners.

● Lead peak-season fleet expansion and vendor onboarding to meet seasonal demand without compromising service quality.

● Implement safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and maintenance standards across the fleet.

● Prepare and present operational MIS, KPI dashboards, and performance reports to senior leadership.

● Supervise and develop branch staff and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution and accountability.

● Assume full operational authority and decision-making responsibility for the branch, including in the absence of senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies

● 8-12 years of progressive experience in logistics, fleet management, transportation, or supply chain operations.

● Proven track record of managing large fleets (500+ vehicles) across multi-city or regional networks.

● Strong financial acumen - P&L management, CPKM modeling, budget planning, and cost optimization.

● Hands-on experience with fleet management systems (FMS), route optimization tools, and real-time asset tracking.

● Working knowledge of SQL, Excel dashboards, and business intelligence tools for data-driven decision-making is a strong plus.

● Demonstrated ability to design and enforce SOPs, safety protocols, and quality-control frameworks.

● Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, with experience in contractual negotiations and performance benchmarking.

● Ability to lead teams independently and take full ownership of branch-level outcomes.

● Experience in express/high-velocity delivery operations with strict SLA and TAT constraints is highly desirable.

Educational Qualification

● MBA / PGDM in Operations, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or equivalent, OR

● B.Tech / Bachelor's degree with substantial, demonstrable logistics/fleet operations experience.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

● Improved fleet utilization, reduced operational incidents, and consistent SLA/TAT compliance.

● Measurable reduction in operational costs through CPKM optimization and structured vendor management.

● A well-documented, standardized branch operating framework that reduces dependency on ad-hoc decision-making.

● Reliable, data-backed reporting that supports senior leadership decision-making.
