Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

What You’ll Do

Own End-to-End Delivery: Code, design, execute, and take full responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of software projects and products.

Shape the R&D Roadmap: Partner with business stakeholders to define project deliverables and manage the roadmap of R&D initiatives.

Bridge Client Needs: Collaborate with Technical Relationship Managers and Architects to translate client-initiated R&D requests into robust solutions.

Drive Issue Resolution: Act as the go-to point of contact for managing and driving production defects through to resolution.

Streamline Critical Processes: Tailor processes to manage time-sensitive issues and bring them to swift, effective closure.

In this role, you’ll take real ownership of the products that keep the world’s access systems running smoothly. What You Bring

Engineering bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science

5+ years of hands-on software development experience

Strong working knowledge of Java 8+, ORM, and Spring Boot, with experience in a testing framework such as JUnit or Cypress

Practical experience with at least one relational database (MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL)

Proven experience designing scalable microservices solutions

Solid understanding of REST APIs, strong debugging skills, and experience with log frameworks such as ELK

Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, with responsive design coding skills; experience with Angular is a plus

Familiarity with CI/CD and Docker/Kubernetes, and knowledge of a message queue such as RabbitMQ or Kafka, is a plus

Demonstrated track record delivering enterprise-grade software end-to-end, including providing technical guidance to others

Strong background in continuous integration practices, with excellent analytical, reasoning, and communication skills

Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to advocate for and influence multiple stakeholders

Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to work well in and across teams
