SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To promote, develop and run the Padel Court, on a day-to-day basis by supporting the Leisure Centre staff in the dealing of enquiries & bookings and operating facilities. To be responsible for the health and safety of colleagues, customers and members, and to motivate the team to ensure the highest possible standards of service are achieved.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure that the equipment and facilities of the Padel Court are maintained and are in good and safe working order. This will involve liaising with contractors when necessary;

Exercise proficiency in IT management systems for court bookings, membership, equipment sales, invoicing and other commercial aspects.

To implement health and safety procedures laid down by law and the hotel.

To review and monitor the performance of the Padel Court.

Promoting and conducting of classes with interested parties.

Create and manage an optimal learning environment for candidates which includes varied teaching and learning methodologies.

Demonstrate excellent levels of professional integrity.

To ensure a high standard of service and guest care;

To provide GM and Financial Controller with performance reports

To report to the Managing Director/ Hotel Manager on all aspects of the Padel Court on a regular basis

Liaising with community and other relevant organizations to promote the facility.

To assist in the preparation of, and implement an effective marketing plan and Budget plans.

To ensure that all staff training in relation to emergency response etc. is refreshed when necessary

To handle concerns and complaints from customers and members

To work with the Marketing department on daily, weekly and monthly promotions, maximising revenue at all times

To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment, ensuring that members of the Team are trained and aware of these requirements.
