About the Opportunity

This role oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs across ACCIONA's infrastructure projects nationally. Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will drive compliance with WHS legislation, guide risk assessments, and manage safety audits and inspections. You will partner closely with project teams to build a strong safety culture, oversee incident investigations, and shape policies that support consistent, high-quality safety outcomes across the business.

Key Accountabilities

Develop WHS/OHS policy aligned to business strategy and culture

Run safety audits and monitoring programs across projects

Draft Construction Safety Management Plans with key stakeholders

Investigate incidents and identify root cause

Drive strategic action to reduce TRIFR/LTIFR

Build a positive safety culture across teams and projects

Report safety performance and trends to senior management

Required Skills and Competencies

Degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations

Experience managing incident investigations and safety audits

Current driver's licence for travel between sites
