We’re looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People and Strategy Group. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead high-impact recruitment and talent initiatives that directly support our enterprise-wide transformation and shape the future of our organisation. This is an initial fixed-term contract role through to June 30, 2027.

As a trusted advisor to senior technology, digital, and project delivery leaders, you'll deliver innovative talent solutions that enable critical technology initiatives and transformation programs. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of permanent technology talent, providing strategic workforce planning, market insights, and talent acquisition expertise to build high-performing teams and strengthen our long-term capability.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with leaders to develop workforce plans and talent acquisition strategies that address current and future capability needs.

Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill technology skill sets through proactive sourcing and market engagement.

Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing expert guidance on recruitment, assessment, selection, and market trends.

Leverage recruitment data, talent insights, and market intelligence to support workforce decisions and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

Proven experience recruiting permanent technology, digital, or transformation talent in a complex or fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of the technology labour market, including sourcing strategies for scarce and specialist skill sets.

Demonstrated success partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver workforce planning and talent acquisition outcomes.

Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.

A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into practical hiring strategies.

Experience using contemporary sourcing techniques, talent mapping, and proactive candidate engagement approaches.

Exposure to public sector recruitment and Queensland Government recruitment frameworks will be highly regarded.

Working in a collaborative team environment within a supportive and engaged organisation, you'll enjoy a hybrid work model, access to personalised learning and development opportunities and the holistic support of our health and wellbeing program. We offer industry competitive salaries, a generous superannuation scheme (including co-contribution) and study assistance.
