The Role

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving membership growth and funds under management by strengthening relationships, enhancing member engagement, and supporting retention and account consolidation initiatives across your portfolio.

Working with employers and key stakeholders nationwide, you’ll help NGS Super’s presence within the non-government education sector and other targeted markets. Through strategic relationship management and business development, you’ll contribute to sustainable growth, increase market penetration, and help position NGS Super as the preferred superannuation fund for employer partners and their staff.

What you’ll do

Drive membership growth and funds under management through strategic employer and stakeholder partnerships.

Identify and pursue new business development opportunities, building and maintaining a strong employer pipeline.

Develop and execute engagement strategies to increase market penetration across target sectors.

Deliver NGS Super’s customer value proposition through tailored employer and member engagement initiatives.

Build trusted relationships with employers, members, industry stakeholders, unions, and employer associations.

Use data and insights to identify growth opportunities, strengthen engagement, and maximise member value.

Present and promote NGS Super’s products and services through meetings, workplace visits, seminars, and events.

Collaborate with internal teams including Member Services, Marketing, Data, Financial Planning, and Customer Relationship Managers to achieve growth objectives.

Manage employer and member enquiries, escalations, and CRM records, ensuring a high standard of service and data integrity.

Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with legislative, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.

About you

An influential relationship builder with a passion for driving growth and creating value for members and employers, you will bring:

RG146 qualification and a strong understanding of the superannuation industry.

Proven success in business development, relationship management, or account management, with at least 5 years’ relevant experience.

Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, influence stakeholders, and build long-term strategic partnerships.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage audiences ranging from individual members to senior industry stakeholders.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver results.

A customer-centric approach with experience managing complex enquiries and resolving issues professionally and effectively.

Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.

Advanced digital and computer literacy, with confidence using CRM systems, data insights, and business technology platforms.

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout WA as required.

Experience using AI and automation tools to improve ways of working, streamline processes, and deliver practical business outcomes.
