Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with 10+ years of software development experience and strong hands-on expertise in Python and AWS cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and services in cloud environments. The candidate should have a strong understanding of software architecture, API development, cloud-native applications, microservices, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Python.

Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.

Develop scalable and secure applications using AWS compute, storage, database, networking, and messaging services.

Work with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.

Develop and integrate APIs and microservices.

Implement event-driven and serverless architectures where appropriate.

Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.

Develop unit tests and integration tests and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Work with relational and NoSQL databases.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

Use Git and modern software development practices for source control and collaboration.

Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.

Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide effective solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software development.

7+ years of hands-on experience with Python.

Strong experience developing enterprise-grade applications and backend services.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

Strong experience with Git and modern development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience working in large enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS certification is a plus.

Experience with serverless architecture and AWS Lambda.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Experience with event-driven architecture.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
