Job Description – Selenium Automation Tester

Position: Senior Automation Test Engineer – Selenium Overall Experience: 7+ Years Mandatory Selenium Experience: Minimum 6+ Years Employment Type: Contract / Project-Based Company: Lagran Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Selenium Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in test automation, framework development, API testing, and functional testing.

Mandatory: Candidate must have a minimum of 6+ years of hands-on Selenium Automation Testing experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.

Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.

Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.

Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects.

Perform API testing and automation.

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.

Participate in release testing and production validation.

Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.

Mandatory Skills

Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Selenium Automation experience – MUST HAVE.

7+ years of overall QA/testing experience.

Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver.

Strong programming experience in Java.

Experience with TestNG / JUnit.

Strong knowledge of automation framework development.

Experience with Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven and Hybrid Frameworks.

Strong understanding of XPath, CSS Selectors, DOM and web technologies.

Experience with API Testing – REST Assured / Postman.

Experience with Maven / Gradle.

Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.

Experience integrating automation with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Cross-browser testing

Cloud testing platforms

Mobile automation/Appium exposure

Screening Criteria

Pay: ₹324,150.18 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
