About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated engineer with a strong DevOps and DevSecOps background to help drive automation, platform engineering, and secure software delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess excellent Python development skills, an automation-first mindset, and experience implementing scalable CI/CD and infrastructure automation solutions. Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies is desirable but not mandatory.

What you’ll be doing

Design, implement, and maintain DevOps and DevSecOps practices across development and operational environments.

Develop automation solutions using Python to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment frameworks, and infrastructure automation capabilities.

Integrate security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into software delivery pipelines.

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enable secure and efficient releases.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational and security processes.

Contribute to platform engineering initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.

Evaluate and leverage AI-driven capabilities where beneficial to improve automation and operational effectiveness

Essential Skills / Experience

Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and DevSecOps practices.

Proficiency in Python scripting and application development.

Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and cloud-native architectures.

Strong automation mindset with experience automating operational, infrastructure, or security processes.

Experience with CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native environments.

Good understanding of security best practices, vulnerability management, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, or AI-assisted automation.

Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).\

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.\

Knowledge of security tooling such as SAST, DAST, SCA, SIEM, or vulnerability management platforms.
