Job Responsibilities:

Strategic

To ensure and support implementation of the Bank’s global and regional initiatives, and projects (Planning of Asia strategy, Planning Core banking strategy, and other key PJ and initiatives, etc.) associated with risk, compliance, financial crime, regulatory affairs, systems, Tokyo Head Quarters and MUFG Group entities, and/or facilities in APAC branches.

Financial KPI of MTBP Asia strategy

Customer

Acting as a liaison with Branches, BU and CCs, and being responsible for partnership and governance

People

To contribute for further improvement of engagement and talent development for entire POA

Other/ Control

Arrange and assist on various conference across the region. Ensure the Bank’s operations, activities in the face and midst of BCP

Adherence to compliance

Job Requirements:

Minimum JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent business-level Japanese proficiency) to communicate effectively with stakeholders in Tokyo Head Quarters and MUFG Group entities to support implementation of the Bank’s global and regional initiatives, and projects, as the role requires interaction with Japanese speaking stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, including corporate banking, and/or Strategic Planning

Minimum bachelor’s degree qualified

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated adaptability to organizational change and the varying demands of different stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills and efficient time management.

Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of banking operations, risk and compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements in APAC.
