ABOUT GENERATOR DUBLIN

You'll find Generator Dublin in the hip Smithfield neighbourhood, adjacent to the Jameson Distillery, just a short walk from Temple Bar. The hostel’s open social spaces and café and bar, with its reclaimed wood, exposed brickwork and original stonework, give the place an unruffled industrial feel.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

Assist the Housekeeping manager in overseeing the team and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel, guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and other assigned areas

Monitor the supervision of effective bedroom cleaning, servicing and maintenance, ensuring sufficient room stock is available to meet business demands

To ensure that the Hotels housekeeping practice and standards are adhered to

Have a good understanding of our guests needs and give your team members direction to fulfil these needs in a fast and effective way

Complete any required administrative functions as instructed by the Housekeeping Manager

Display a passionate, fun and enthusiastic approach to work in order to inspire and motivate the members of the team, creating an enjoyable, cohesive and supportive working environment to work within

Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety compliance inclusive of COSHH

Possess the ability to keep staff motivated during long and demanding shift

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

You must be eligible to work full time in the EU to be considered for this role

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as Housekeeping Manager or similar role

Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organisations

Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
