Retail Store Manager
About the role
A retail auto parts store manager drives store sales, oversees daily operations, and leads a team of parts professionals. They manage inventory, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and build commercial accounts. Responsibilities include hiring staff, analyzing profit and loss (P&L) statements, and executing merchandising plans
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Customer Service
Drive store sales targets and promote special deals and commercial/wholesale programs.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure the team delivers highly knowledgeable, professional service.
2. Inventory & Operations
Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels, core returns, and minimal obsolescence.
Manage shipping, receiving, and routine audits to reconcile physical stock with the computerized point-of-sale (POS) system.
Monitor store vehicles, building security, and implement loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Typically requires 2-5 years of retail management or sales supervision experience, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Knowledge: Sound understanding of automotive parts, inventory principles, and POS/retail software. [1, 2]
Skills: Excellent leadership, administrative, and problem-solving abilities. Capable of managing, analyzing, and reconciling store financial performance
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
