Analyst - Delivery - Business Analyst(BA)

The Business Analyst serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the internal delivery team, translating business needs into clear, structured scope documentation and helping ensure alignment between delivery outcomes and customer expectations. The role is responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for SharePoint-based solutions, including the preparation of user stories and functional requirements to ensure that requirements are complete, actionable, and enable successful delivery.

Work you'll do

As a Software Engineer I on the CoRe Business Solutions team, you will be responsible for:

Support requirement gathering by engaging customers and stakeholders through calls, follow-ups, review sessions, interviews, surveys, and document analysis.

Capture, document, and organize business, functional, and process requirements for SharePoint-based solutions, and prepare meeting notes, action trackers, and requirement summaries.

Draft project scope documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog-ready requirements to support estimation, planning, development, and delivery readiness.

Coordinate with customers and internal teams to clarify requirements, validate assumptions, close documentation gaps, and support alignment across design, development, and user acceptance testing.

Identify requirement gaps, unresolved decisions, and unclear scope early; escalate issues before build activities begin; and maintain current process and workflow documentation.

The team

CoRe Business Solutions team offers an opportunity to be an integral part of the Digital Solutions Group. The principal focus of this group is to customize technical solutions for global Deloitte Member Firms to address a variety of business needs including marketing and communication, knowledge management, learning and development, and overall process automation. The team uses primarily Microsoft SharePoint (on-prem and cloud) as a platform. We use various web development and automation tools and technologies within a structured delivery process to develop products that deliver significant value to our internal customers across Deloitte’s global network.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

1-2 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, or scope documentation

Experience documenting business, functional, and process requirements

Experience drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items

Experience using Azure DevOps or a similar tool for backlog, sprint, and defect tracking

Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for project documentation

Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint features including document management, permissions, forms, and workflows

MBA degree or equivalent from an accredited university

Preferred:

CBAP certification

Experience using Microsoft Visio for process flows and solution documentation

Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Experience supporting UAT, defect resolution, and stakeholder communication

Familiarity with responsive design principles

Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as SharePoint metrics or Adobe Analytics
