Occupational Therapist
About the role
Your new role:
As an Occupational Therapist within the Adult Acute Psychiatric Unit, you will provide high-quality assessment, therapeutic intervention and discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team. You will apply your clinical expertise to support consumer recovery, contribute to service improvement initiatives, educate and support students and allied health staff, and help deliver safe, compassionate and effective occupational therapy services.
About you:
You are a passionate Occupational Therapist who thrives in a collaborative mental health environment and is committed to delivering evidence-based, recovery-focused care that supports consumers to achieve their goals. You will have:
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions in mental health settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Ability to develop therapeutic relationships and provide person-centred, recovery-focused care
Commitment to clinical learning, professional development and evidence-based practice
Experience or interest in contributing to student supervision, service improvement and quality initiatives
