Potential earnings of $85,000 plus 12.75% superannuation – including penalties
9-day fortnight (Mon-Fri, Mon-Thurs), 0700 to 1600 year round

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trackworker to join our Regional Assets, Track team located at our Ayr depot.
As a Trackworker you will be responsible for performing heavy manual labour duties including replacing railway sleepers and a variety of other track maintenance tasks.
This position is responsible for performing heavy manual labour duties including replacing railway sleepers and a variety of other track maintenance tasks. This position is constantly in the field so you must be able to work in challenging weather conditions and high temperatures.
In this role you will:
Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track
Perform outdoor labouring duties throughout the region (including flood repair and other emergency work)
Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Recent experience in a manual handling, labouring or TA type role
Ability to pass cognitive & psychomotor testing for associated rail qualifications
HC truck licence & excavator ticket advantageous
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Must have capacity to travel and work within regional Queensland
Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required
HC truck licence and excavator operator ticket are advantageous.
