Automation Developer – Senior:
Responsibilities:

Additional Skills for RPA/ML Power Automate:
Demonstrated 5+ experience in developing, testing, and implementing complex system solutions using Microsoft Power Automate Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML) platform, and Process Mining Technologies.
Experience in configuring, building, or developing machine learning algorithms and relevant programming experiences such as Java or Python.
Demonstrated experience and skills in using Power Automate flows cloud and desktop flows, UI Interface, AI builder/ Form Recognizer ML models, and leveraging accelerators and connectors to build end-to-end RPA/ML automation solutions.
Demonstrated experience and skills to interface and integrate with multiple databases monitoring applications, Power BI, and different services, to implement end-to-end solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of OCR, information extraction/classification, and experience in using and training AI models based on business requirements.
Demonstrated experience in documenting Solution Design Documents (SDD) based on business requirements and planning and executing the development tasks.
Demonstrated experience in designing secure Restful/Soap APIs web services and microservices with Java/JEE, Spring Framework, SQL/NoSQL database, Message Queue, etc.
Demonstrated experience in developing frontend applications using Angular, Java Scripts, Groovy, JSON, HTML/CSS/XML/XPath, and Python.
Good knowledge of IAM, OAuth, authentication, and authorization.
Has Experience in developing Java applications that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at the AA level.
Experience Requirements
This position is listed as Onsite. The resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per day between the standard working hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, excluding lunch breaks, Monday to Friday, at the identified OPS office location.

40% – Test Automation Architecture & Technical Expertise
Automation Framework Architecture (Playwright):
Deep expertise in designing, building, and evolving scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, including a thorough understanding of architecture patterns (Page Object Model, modular frameworks, hybrid frameworks).
Reusable Automation Design:
Experience developing reusable environments, shared libraries, templates, while reducing redundancy across test suites.
Advanced Scripting & Hands-on Development:
Strong hands-on coding skills (TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar) to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts.
Multi-layer Automation Coverage:
Experience implementing automation for:
UI testing (Playwright)
API testing
Performance testing (e.g., JMeter)
Accessibility (AODA tools such as Axe, Lighthouse)
CI/CD Integration:
Strong understanding of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous testing and release readiness.
AI in Test Automation:
Experience with , or exposure to, AI-powered testing capabilities (e.g., test generation, self-healing, intelligent reporting).
25% – Automation Strategy, Governance & Process Improvement
Automation Strategy Development:
Proven experience defining and executing enterprise or branch-wide automation strategies, including roadmap planning and phased adoption.
Standards and Governance:
Ability to define automation standards, guidelines, and best practices, ensuring consistency across teams.
Metrics & Reporting:
Experience defining and tracking key automation KPIs (test coverage, execution efficiency, defect detection rates) and reporting to stakeholders.
Process Optimization:
Implement continuous improvement initiatives including:
QA audits (compliance, security, performance)
Process standardization and optimization
Framework Evolution:
Ability to continuously refine frameworks for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
20% – Leadership, Team Scaling & Mentorship
Technical Leadership:
Experience leading automation initiatives and acting as a subject matter expert across multiple projects.
Team Building & Scaling:
Proven ability to scale QA Automation teams, integrating resources across multiple teams, sections, or branches.
Mentorship & Capability Development:
Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to QA and development teams to improve automation skills and adoption.
Training & Knowledge Sharing:
Design and deliver structured training programs, workshops, and monthly knowledge-sharing sessions.
Resource Planning:
Ability to assess and ensure required capacity (people, tools, time) to sustain automation goals.
10% – Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Strong ability to work with Development, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to embed quality practices early in the developement lifecycle.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage stakeholders to drive automation adoption, communicate progress, and align priorities.
Adoption & Change Management:
Experience leading branch-wide rollout initiatives, including pilot onboarding and support structures.
Documentation & Knowledge Management:
Ability to establish and maintain centralized repositories (e.g., MS Teams and SharePoint) for artifacts, frameworks, and documentation.

Ability to define clear automation project plans, manage deliverables, and meet timelines.

Experience selecting and delivering pilot projects involving CI/CD, AI, API, performance, and accessibility testing.
