About the role

Job Description: Technical Project Manager (TPM)

Strong engineering educational background: As I am not familiar with the landscape of local Indian universities, I will rely on Swati to evaluate this aspect.

Experience: The TPM role requires significant work experience. Ideally, candidates should have 5+ years of experience in relevant positions.

Competitor Experience: Previous experience working at our competitor companies is preferred, such as Bosch, ZF, Magna, Aptiv, Valeo, Continental, Nexteer, Veoneer*, etc.

Product Background: Experience is not limited to ADAS products. Technical project management experience with braking products (ABS, ESP, IPB, etc.), electronic steering products (EPS), transmission TCUs, or engine EMS is also suitable.

Travel & Driving: Ability to drive and willingness to travel frequently.

Language: English proficiency.

Tools: Proficiency in using Vector CAN tools. Responsibilities:

Technical Lead: Serve as the technical lead for ADAS projects, ensuring engineers meet customer requirements within project timelines and scope.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with the entire development team, including system engineers, application software engineers, base software engineers/hardware engineers, and cross-functional teams in project/sales management.

Customer Interface: Represent the engineering team to customers, suppliers, and other internal operations.

Technical Services: Provide technical services to customers, including feasibility studies, assembly assistance, production launch, and troubleshooting.

OEM Focal Point: Act as the primary point of contact for OEMs in the areas of E/E (electronic and electrical architecture), software, and vehicle projects.

Project Reporting: Regularly report project status to internal stakeholders and customers, and organize meetings.

Process Compliance: Deliver engineering process documentation according to development processes and automotive SPICE requirements.

Software Coordination: Coordinate and liaise with the application software team during the development phase, with support from the core engineering team.

Validation Support: Support vehicle validation engineers in vehicle debugging and DVP/PVP (Design Verification Plan/Product Validation Plan).

Technical Proposals: Prepare technical proposals/engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) for other functional teams to ensure safe production launch.

Work Package Management: Define and track work packages, create release plans, and manage resources.

Engineering Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the project engineering team to deliver engineering tasks, meeting time/cost/quality targets according to the company's engineering development process. .
