Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Lead global client service teams in the following areas:
Capital markets and SPAC transactions
SEC/SEBI Reporting and Compliance Financial Accounting and Reporting
GAAP conversions
Transaction accounting - acquisitions, carve-outs, restructuring
Accounting change (revenue recognition and lease accounting)
Accounting policy manuals and technical accounting memorandums
Organizing and providing technical training People management
Lead a team of Associates and Seniors on client engagements and provide high quality delivery • People and performance management
Conduct trainings for team members on accounting and reporting concepts
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)
3–5 years of post–qualification experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting, with at least 2 years of advisory experience preferably with a Big 4
Expert knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and Ind-AS
Extensive experience in the following areas:
Financial statement preparation and consolidation process
Technical accounting advisory on complex topics (e.g. business combinations, consolidation, debt/equity etc.)
GAAP conversions and adoption of new accounting standards
Drafting accounting policies and writing technical memorandums
Candidates can expect at least two-three rounds of technical interviews
