Hiring: Senior Data Engineer

Location: Hyderabad (On-site) Experience: 8+ Years Shift: US Night Shift

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and building scalable cloud-native data platforms, modern ETL/ELT pipelines, and data lakehouse architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

Build and maintain data lakehouse solutions using Databricks and Delta Lake.

Develop high-performance data processing applications using PySpark and SQL.

Implement cloud-based data engineering solutions on AWS.

Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform.

Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow.

Ensure data quality, governance, reliability, and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.

Mandatory Skills

8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

DBT

Databricks

AWS

Terraform

PySpark

SQL

ETL/ELT

Delta Lake / Apache Iceberg

Apache Airflow

Amazon EMR

Strong understanding of Data Lakehouse Architecture.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar AI coding assistants.

Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
