Mobile Application Software Development Engineer Bangalore · Full-time · Hybrid

About the Role We are seeking a .NET MAUI Developer to design and build cross-platform applications for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS, focusing on developing high-performance applications that integrate with external devices and backend systems using multiple communication protocols. The role involves working cross-functionally across design, hardware, software, test, life cycle engineering, and support. Success in this role means delivering reliable, high-performance applications with a consistent user experience across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally across design, hardware, software, test, life cycle engineering, and support teams

Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS

Implement and manage communication protocols, including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), USB communication, and TCP/IP socket communication

Integrate applications with backend systems using REST APIs

Design and implement UI using XAML following MVVM architecture

Implement platform-specific functionality using handlers and native APIs

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to connectivity, device integration, and cross-platform behavior

Perform testing, including unit, integration, and UI testing, to ensure application reliability across platforms

Ensure application performance, stability, and consistent user experience across platforms

Manage source code using Git and follow coding best practices

Requirements

Have 3+ years of experience in mobile or cross-platform development

Possess strong hands-on experience with C#, XAML, and .NET MAUI

Have experience building cross-platform applications for Android and iOS

Have a strong understanding of MVVM, SOLID principles, and design patterns

Have experience implementing platform-specific features using native APIs or handlers

Have experience using Git or version control systems

Good to Have

Experience building applications for Windows and macOS

Understanding of networking and communication protocols, such as BLE, USB, and TCP/IP

Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs

Experience in device integration and hardware communication scenarios

Experience in creating or maintaining Windows installers

Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as NUnit or xUnit
