Main Duties & Responsibilities
Mission
Deliver proactive, actionable FX & Precious Metals advice to Investment Specialists, Relationship Managers and clients, aligned with the House view and market opportunities.
Create and disseminate high-quality investment content and trade ideas across all internal and external channels.
Identify business opportunities and manage risk through systematic analysis of client activity and portfolio exposures.
Drive asset class development by collaborating on cross-asset projects, enhancing tools, and ensuring robust compliance and risk management.
Responsibilities
Proactively advise internal clients (relationship managers and investment specialists) and selected active clients on their FX and PM trading, investment and hedging needs.
Create timely investment advice in line with the House view and taking advantage of prevailing market conditions.
Create and distribute FX & PM communications (publications, broadcasts ideas …) through all available medias and channel (intranet, chat rooms, conference calls, investment meetings, one-on-one meetings …)
Analyze the book of business for opportunities and risk management.
Support RMs in monitoring FX margin positions and assist RMs to explain the situation in case there are margin calls.
Collaborate with Fixed Income, Equities, and Structured Product specialists across Asia and Geneva to deliver cross-asset solutions and drive business synergies.
Contribute to the development of the asset class through project work on tools, systems, risk framework, training material and marketing documents.
Support the development of structured products across asset classes.
Ensure optimal compliance and risk management that takes account of all relevant local laws, regulatory requirements, in-house directives and procedures, as well as possessing adequate knowledge to apply these effectively and ensure fair treatment of all clients.

Your profile
Excellent technical knowledge of Derivatives and Structured Products across asset classes.
Excellent technical knowledge of the main drivers of asset classes.
In-depth understanding of the private banking and FX value chain, as well as client segments.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to give a short and convincing pitch. Excellent public-speaking and presentation skills.
Very good grasp of portfolio construction, investment processes and risk management approaches.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Resilient, proactive, self-driven and results oriented.
Very strong team spirit and ability to partner with other teams.
Graduate degree in Economics, Business, Engineering or a similar subject.
Ideally a postgraduate degree such as a Master’s, MBA, CIIA or CFA.
Solid experience in FX&PM Advisory for 10-15 years, in a client-facing role.
