About the Role

We're looking for a talented HR & Workplace Relations Consultant to join our growing team, supporting Western Australian businesses with practical, commercially focused people solutions.

In this client-facing consulting role, you'll partner with organisations across a wide range of industries to provide expert advice on human resources, workplace relations and employee relations matters. A key part of the role is the design and delivery of engaging workplace training programs, helping employers build capability, strengthen compliance and develop their people leaders.

Reporting to the Manager, HR & Workplace Relations Consultancy, you'll work directly with business owners, executives, HR professionals and people leaders to navigate complex workplace challenges and implement practical solutions that support positive business outcomes. One day you may be facilitating a workshop on performance management or workplace behaviour, while the next you're conducting an award allocation or wage audit, developing HR policies, supporting organisational change initiatives or providing strategic HR advice to a client.

This is a full time, permanent position, based in the Perth CBD.

Key responsibilities include:

Deliver practical HR and workplace relations consulting services to members and clients.

Facilitate engaging training courses, workshops and presentations across HR, workplace relations and people management topics.

Develop and maintain high-quality training materials, resources and client solutions.

Prepare professional workplace documentation, reports, policies and advisory resources.

Build trusted client relationships through exceptional service and practical advice.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training and consulting offerings.

Identify opportunities to client relationships and support business growth.

Represent CCIWA at networking events, industry forums and member engagement activities.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the HR & Workplace Relations team and broader business.

Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through training, presentations, webinars and written content.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will also have:

Bachelor/tertiary degree in Training, Human Resources or relevant field

Great networking and business development skills

Proven success in a similar role either; providing external consulting support to clients or functioning as a business partner or in a similar relevant role such as an advisor.

Previous hands-on experience in a HR/ER or IR role is essential

Excellent organisational skills, time management and proven ability to complete full training cycle

Collaborative and innovative mindset

Strong commercial acumen and belief in supporting WA businesses
