Slot Game Mathematician

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a Slot Game Mathematician. In this role, you will handle designing and implementing mathematical logic for slot games, working from specifications provided by Game Designers. This role requires a deep understanding of probability and statistical modeling to ensure the games are mathematically sound and engaging.

Please note: you must have at least 4+ years of experience as a Slot Game Mathematician to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Developing core mathematical frameworks for slot gameplay.

Calculating win probabilities and evaluating key game metrics.

Creating simulations to evaluate and improve game logic with a C++ tool.

Collaborating with Game Designers to adjust and balance payouts.

Cooperating with multidisciplinary teams including Developers, Artists, Project Managers, QA, and other Mathematicians throughout the development cycle.

Preparing detailed mathematical documentation to support regulatory compliance and approvals.

Acting as the internal reference for mathematical topics and assisting with concept phase evaluations, particularly for exploitability or compliance risks.

EXPERIENCE

BS in Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

4+ years of experience as a Slot Game Mathematician.

Strong programming skills in any of the languages such as Python, C++, C#, or Java.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analytical tasks.

High diligence and precision.

A collaborative mindset and initiative-taking approach to teamwork.

Strong technical English and clear communication skills.

Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work across diverse project teams.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
