Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Automation Engineer to join our AI& Automation Center of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you will help drive enterprise automation initiatives by delivering scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions for a large and diverse user base, and support existing automations. The successful candidate will collaborate within the CoE team, working closely with data and infrastructure teams, as well as business stakeholders to design, develop, test and support solutions that are aligned with strategic transformation initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support automation workflows using UiPath and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).

Build and integrate custom components and libraries using APIs and scripting languages to extend automation capabilities.• Develop automation logic and custom activities using VB.NET and C#, particularly within UiPath environments.• Develop responsive Power Apps and Power Automate flows to support data integration and workflow automation.• Create and consume REST APIs to enable platform integrations and data exchange.• Work with JSON to support data transformation and integration logic.• Use SQL to retrieve, update, and validate data across databases.• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical automation solutions.• Provide production support for deployed automations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for end users.• Support testing and validation activities for automations during infrastructure patch deployments as needed.• Maintain and enhance existing automation solutions to optimize performance and align with evolving business needs.• Document automation solution designs, configurations, and support procedures.• Participate in code reviews, peer learning, and knowledge sharing within the CoE.• Stay current on emerging technologies and automation trends and proactively recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills& Experience• 8-10 years of experience developing automation solutions in a corporate environment.• Proven experience developing solutions with UiPath, including REFramework, Orchestrator, and custom activities.• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.• Experience providing production support for automation solutions serving a large user base.• Strong understanding of the automation lifecycle, including exception handling, logging, and performance optimization.• Proficiency in VB.NET and C# for automation scripting and component development, adhering to coding best practices.• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and Power Apps to build responsive applications.• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and SQL for integration and data operations.• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving tools and frameworks.

Preferred Skills& Experience• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop.• Familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint, and Dataverse.• Exposure to Python, .NET, or other scripting languages for custom integrations.• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and test automation frameworks.• Experience working in regulated or governance-heavy environments, with a focus on delivering auditable, reliable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

The expected salary range for this position is $86,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year.
