1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

As the Manager, Operations Training, you will provide comprehensive training and development programs to teams in various facilities. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Develop, write, maintain and coordinate training modules for a variety of specialties, including quality assurance (QA), powered industrial truck (PIT) operations, pick, pack and ship processes, safety, loss prevention, people management, warehouse management systems (WMS), etc.
Oversee the development of training videos and/or films; maintain the library of training aids
Schedule training sessions; ensure facility and audio-visual equipment is set up and that employees are notified
Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs through testing, surveys, etc.
Identify required core competencies and address any skill gaps
Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and interacting with employees
Determine and implement career development plans for each training department employee
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
4 years of related work experience
Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
Knowledge of adult learning principles and adult training methodologies
Ability to adhere to the 7S program
Proven ability to maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices
It’d be great if you also have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
3 years of management experience
2 years of training, teaching or related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative and visual graphic design ability
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
