Key Responsibilities

Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.

Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and production issues.

Monitor machine performance and reduce equipment downtime.

Prepare inspection reports, maintenance logs, and quality documentation.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations.

Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaborate with production, design, and operations teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA)

Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance

Knowledge of engineering drawings and mechanical components

Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge

Basic understanding of GD&T and engineering tolerances

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Good documentation and reporting skills

Preferred Technical Skills

AutoCAD or SolidWorks (Basic)

MS Excel and Microsoft Office

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Lean Manufacturing

5S Methodology

Six Sigma (Basic knowledge is a plus)

ISO 9001 Quality Management System
