About the role

Role Overview Josmo is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the complete HR function across both white-collar and blue-collar workforce. The role will be responsible for building a high-performance culture while ensuring smooth HR operations across recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, payroll coordination, and industrial relations.

The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable recruiting senior professionals, managing factory manpower, resolving employee concerns on the shop floor, and partnering with leadership to build scalable HR systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Lead end-to-end recruitment for white-collar and blue-collar positions across manufacturing, retail, design, operations, supply chain, and corporate functions.

Develop manpower plans in partnership with department heads based on business requirements.

Build strong hiring pipelines through consultants, job portals, references, ITIs, apprenticeship programs, and local recruitment drives.

Improve hiring turnaround time while ensuring quality of hires.

Manage onboarding and induction to ensure smooth employee integration.

Employee Relations & Factory HR

Act as the primary HR partner for both office and factory employees.

Build strong relationships with employees across all levels through regular floor presence and open communication.

Address employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts professionally and fairly.

Ensure effective communication between management and employees.

Promote a positive work culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and respect.

Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and welfare activities.

Performance Management

Drive the company's performance management process including KRAs, goal setting, probation reviews, appraisals, and development plans.

Support managers in conducting regular performance reviews and feedback discussions.

Identify high performers and succession opportunities.

Manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where required.

HR Operations

Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, overtime records, and HR documentation.

Ensure employee records are maintained accurately within the HRMS.

Manage joining formalities, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit processes.

Monitor HR metrics including recruitment, absenteeism, attrition, productivity, and headcount.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

Ensure compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, and company policies.

Coordinate statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and other employment-related requirements.

Maintain statutory registers and employee records.

Support labour inspections and compliance audits.

Ensure implementation of POSH, disciplinary policies, and workplace safety standards.

Learning & Development

Identify skill gaps and develop training programs for both staff and shop-floor employees.

Coordinate technical, behavioural, safety, and leadership training programs.

Drive induction, cross-functional learning, and employee development initiatives.

Build career progression pathways for high-potential employees.

HR Strategy & Process Improvement

Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices.

Strengthen HR systems through automation and HRMS utilization.

Build HR dashboards and reports for leadership.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

Industrial Relations

Maintain healthy employee relations within the manufacturing environment.

Handle disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and conflict resolution where required.

Partner with department heads to proactively address workforce issues.

Promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).

6–10 years of HR experience, including manufacturing or factory environments.

Proven experience managing both white-collar and blue-collar workforces.

Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.

Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.

Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proficiency in HRMS, Microsoft Excel, and HR reporting tools.

Preferred Experience

Experience in furniture, manufacturing or retail

Experience managing a workforce of 150+ employees across multiple locations.

Exposure to apprenticeship programs, ITI hiring, and shop-floor workforce management.

Experience implementing HR systems, policies, and process improvements.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
