Our Opportunity:
Chewy seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Commercial FP&A Finance team! Combining an understanding of Finance, and practical knowledge of financial documents while using data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
What You'll Do:
Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to provide recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership
Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance
Work cross-functionally with the broader Chewy Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain and Accounting teams to fully understand the business, systems, and overall operations
Actively participate in strategic planning processes, target setting, and annual/quarterly planning processes by building & updating forecast models and creating alignment between business and finance teams
Support financial reporting process for weekly and monthly business reviews
Coordinate the monthly close process ensuring books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with Chewy's policies and procedures
Effectively manage numerous projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What You'll Need:
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or Economics
3+ years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statements
Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis
Advanced Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, Data tables, pivot tables, etc.) skills
Ability to think creatively, be a self-start, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloads
Strong written and oral communication skills
Bonus:

The base salary range for this role is $86,500 - $152,500.00.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Compensation
This Finance role pays $87k-$153k/yr. Within typical range for finance roles in United States.
