In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to analyze business and reporting needs, support data-driven decision making, and identify opportunities to improve and streamline reporting processes. You will work across multiple systems and data sources to ensure accurate, timely reporting while supporting ongoing business and technology transformation initiatives.
This position will play a key role in supporting modernization efforts by helping consolidate data sources, improve reporting workflows, reduce manual processes, and contribute to scalable enterprise data solutions. You will collaborate with business partners, technical teams, and vendors to develop solutions that enhance efficiency, improve data accessibility, and support strategic business objectives.
Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, SQL proficiency, problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate takes ownership of projects, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and drives solutions from concept through implementation.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business and data challenges
Strong SQL skills and experience working with data across multiple systems
Ability to troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
Experience partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable solutions
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset
Technical Skills
Strong SQL proficiency
Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and data manipulation
Experience with Alteryx or similar workflow automation, reporting, ETL, or data transformation tools
Experience working with enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, or cloud-based data environments (Databricks or comparable technologies preferred)
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar technologies preferred
Reporting, business intelligence, and data visualization experience preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with the following:
Develop, maintain, and optimize recurring and ad hoc reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy and delivering actionable business insights
Analyze complex business and data requirements and translate them into reporting and process improvement solutions
Leverage data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, process inefficiencies, and business risks
Design and document system enhancements, business requirements, functional specifications, and testing activities
Support business transformation initiatives and reporting modernization efforts
Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements that streamline reporting, data retrieval, or operational workflows
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to investigate data issues across multiple systems and data sources
Experience working with complex or legacy system environments
Ability to assess business value and support prioritization of initiatives based on business impact and ROI
Strong business analysis, reporting, and documentation skills
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
Experience supporting Risk, Insurance, HCM, HR Technology, Payroll, or other complex enterprise environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to influence stakeholders, partners, and vendors to drive business outcomes
