About the role
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to modernize key business applications for our federal client. This person would transform legacy workflows into secure, user-friendly digital tools that will directly improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and regulatory transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
System Modernization & UX Design: Replacing outdated tracking tools with secure Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power BI solutions, using Figma prototypes to deliver clean, intuitive user interfaces.
Process & Data Integration: Streamlining financial workflows by configuring automated processes, custom connectors, and Dataverse structures that reliably link disparate agency databases.
Application Lifecycle Excellence: Maintaining software stability and seamless release cycles using Azure DevOps or GitHub for version control and deployment within an Agile environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with architects, business analysts, and agency stakeholders to translate complex financial compliance needs into clear technical requirements and design standards.
Required Qualifications:
US Citizenship required (dual citizens are ineligible)
This position will require a Public Trust background investigation
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
8+ Years advanced experience building enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Power BI.
Hands-on UI/UX design experience creating user-centered designs, wireframes, and interactive prototypes in Figma prior to low-code implementation.
Experience delivering software solutions for financial management, accounting, or regulatory compliance workflows within a federal agency environment
Direct experience utilizing Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control, release management, and software lifecycle tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience collaborating within structured Scrum or Kanban delivery teams.
Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400) or Agile scrum credentials.
Strong technical documentation skills for creating reusable UI design patterns and system guides.

Position: Power Platform Developer (UI/UX)
Location: Washington, DC (fully remote)
Base Compensation: $120-150K DOE
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
Paid Time Off: 16 days PTO/year, 11 holidays/year
