Financial Analyst, Amazon Kids+ Subscription Finance

DESCRIPTION

Amazon Kids+ Subscription Finance is actively seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Company’s financial planning, budgeting and analysis as well as direct business partner support.

You will be responsible for working with the finance team, partnering with the business to help them understand and manage their budgets and forecasts, proactively delivering insights to relevant constituents.

You will also facilitate communications across the organization, delivering insightful financial analyses and reports to internal and external stakeholders and working closely with the accounting function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key job responsibilities

Develop comprehensive financial analyses and reports that translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and drive operational efficiency

Monitor and communicate critical financial trends that inform strategic business decisions

Design and implement financial benchmarks to measure organizational performance

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes with meticulous attention to detail

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of finance experience

1+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)

Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills

Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
