Nexgen Tooling, a leading manufacturer of high-performance, tight-tolerance carbide cutting tools, is seeking a skilled and organised Project Manager to join our team. This is a Full-Time position based in Austin, Texas, United States. Founded in 2016, our company is built on a foundation of quality, consistency, and responsive customer support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding key projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the high standards our clients expect. You will play a crucial role in coordinating internal resources and liaising with stakeholders to drive efficiency and success in our advanced tooling solutions.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within the allocated budget.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure seamless project progression.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.

Track project milestones and deliverables, proactively managing changes in project scope and identifying potential risks.

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.

Ensure all projects comply with our high standards for quality and precision.

Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the manufacturing, engineering, or tooling industry.

Excellent understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead and manage diverse team members.

Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in project management software.

A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is a significant advantage.
