Commercial Project Manager | Logistics and Field Operations
About the role
A growing commercial services company is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate relocation, logistics, installation, and related field projects throughout Seattle and the Eastside. This position manages projects from initial planning through completion, including customer communication, site visits, scheduling, labor and equipment coordination, field support, cost monitoring, and documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable making decisions, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Review project scope, schedules, locations, access requirements, and customer expectations
Conduct site walkthroughs to evaluate inventory, logistics, equipment needs, and potential challenges
Coordinate labor, vehicles, equipment, materials, vendors, and project schedules
Serve as a primary contact for assigned customers and provide clear project updates
Prepare work instructions and communicate expectations to field supervisors and crews
Monitor project progress, labor hours, quality, schedule, and resource usage
Provide onsite support and resolve operational or customer concerns when needed
Document changes in scope, delays, additional work, and significant decisions
Maintain accurate project notes, photos, schedules, and completion records
Coordinate project information with Operations, Sales, and Accounting
Promote safe, professional, and efficient work practices
Required Qualifications
Three or more years of experience in project management, logistics, transportation, moving, installation, construction, facilities, or a related operational field
Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
Experience coordinating employees, schedules, vehicles, equipment, or vendors
Strong customer service and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and make practical operational decisions
Basic understanding of labor hours, project costs, and resource planning
Proficiency with common office software and the ability to learn new systems
Ability to travel regularly throughout Seattle and the Eastside
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with commercial relocation, workplace logistics, furniture installation, or field services
Experience conducting site surveys and managing multi phase projects
Familiarity with commercial buildings, loading docks, elevators, and access requirements
Experience working with facility managers, property managers, contractors, or commercial customers
Schedule and Work Environment: This is a full time, in person position that includes office work, site visits, and field support.Some projects may require early morning, evening, or weekend availability. Regular local travel throughout Seattle and the Eastside is required.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
