Business Process Specialist Senior

Purpose and Impact:

Amentum is seeking a Business Process Specialist (Sr-Level) to support the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Defense Intelligence Enterprise.

Intelligence organizations run on processes, and processes drift. As a Business Process Specialist supporting DIA, you'll be the person who measures what's actually happening, finds where risk and waste live, and builds the case for making it better. This is a role for someone who likes evidence: you'll map intelligence-related business processes, build and monitor metrics, survey stakeholders, and use statistical analysis to turn 'we think this is slow' into 'here's exactly where and here's the fix.' At the senior level, you'll do this work at its highest degree of difficulty, and you'll multiply your impact by leading and mentoring the team around you. This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, security clearance verification, and funding availability.

Work Schedule: 5 days, 8 hours/day M-F

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead process improvement initiatives end to end, from baseline measurement through implemented change

Advise government leaders on where to invest improvement effort, backed by benchmark comparisons and statistical evidence

Design the metrics frameworks that mid-level specialists execute against

Mentor the business analysis team and standardize methods across the program

Present findings and recommendations to senior decision makers in clear, compelling terms

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Active TS/SCI clearance

12+ years of relevant business process experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years

Master's degree desired in a related field

Demonstrated leadership of process improvement efforts

Track record of quantifiable performance improvements

Security Clearance Required:

Active TS/SCI clearance

Minimum Education:

Master's degree desired in a related field

Minimum Years of Experience:

12+ years of relevant business process experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years

Preferred Qualifications:

DIA or Defense Intelligence Enterprise experience

Program transition support experience

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or comparable advanced certification

Compensation Details:

80,000 - 160,000
