Role: AWS Cloud Engineer
Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: Bangalore
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications on AWS. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Amazon ECS, containerized microservices, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AWS cloud operations.
The role involves building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions while independently managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Amazon ECS (Fargate & EC2 launch types).
Build, deploy, and support microservices-based applications on AWS.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using:
Terraform
AWS CloudFormation
AWS CDK
Configure and manage AWS networking services:
VPC
Route 53
Load Balancers (ALB/NLB)
NAT Gateway
Security Groups
Monitor infrastructure and applications using:
Amazon CloudWatch
AWS CloudTrail
AWS X-Ray
Implement AWS security best practices:
IAM
AWS Secrets Manager
AWS KMS
Least-Privilege Access
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployments and optimize application performance.
Manage container images using Amazon ECR.
Support cloud migration, modernization, and production releases.
Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and production support.
Ensure AWS infrastructure is highly available, scalable, secure, and cost optimized.
Participate in cloud architecture discussions and engineering best practices.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in:
Computer Science
Information Technology
Engineering
Or equivalent practical experience
Required Experience
6–8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
Strong experience with Amazon ECS.
Experience deploying containerized microservices.
Hands-on expertise with Docker.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code:
Terraform
AWS CloudFormation
AWS CDK
Strong knowledge of AWS services:
ECS
EC2
VPC
IAM
S3
RDS
CloudWatch
CloudTrail
Elastic Load Balancer (ALB/NLB)
Auto Scaling
Amazon ECR
Experience with CI/CD tools:
GitHub Actions
Jenkins
AWS CodePipeline
Strong Linux administration skills.
Experience with Git version control.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Good understanding of AWS networking and cloud security.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Developer – Associate
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
Experience with Amazon EKS or Kubernetes
Experience with:

API Gateway
Knowledge of monitoring tools:
Grafana
Prometheus
Datadog
Splunk
Experience implementing deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling, etc.).
Exposure to AI/ML application deployment.
Knowledge of event-driven services:

Amazon SNS
Amazon EventBridge
Scripting experience using:
Python
Bash
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Understanding of AWS cost optimization and FinOps.
