Product Owner – Analytics as a Service
Position Summary
The Product Owner is responsible for defining, prioritizing and continuously evolving Qualitrol's Analytics as a Service portfolio for rotating machines, grid monitoring and future analytics services.
This individual serves a primary voice of the end user inside the incubator, partnering closely with customers, commercial teams and engineering to rapidly deliver valuable capabilities that improve customer outcomes. Unlike a traditional Product Owner, this role is expected to build an AI-first, customer-centric product management capability capable of continuously discovering customer needs, validating ideas, and delivering production-ready analytics services at startup speed.
The Product Owner will establish tight Voice of Customer feedback loops through immersive customer engagement, AI-assisted market intelligence and frequent product releases while ensuring the squad remains focused on the highest-value opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
Product Strategy
Own the product roadmap for Qualitrol's Analytics as a Service portfolio.
Prioritize features based on:
Customer value
Business impact
Market opportunity
Competitive differentiation
Technical feasibility
Maintain a rolling product roadmap balancing customer commitments with long-term platform evolution.
Customer Discovery
Develop trusted relationships with early adopters and strategic customers.
Establish structured Voice of Customer processes including:
Follow Me Home observations
Customer Advisory Boards
Early Adopter Councils
Design Partner Programs
Customer interviews
Usage analytics
Product telemetry
Continuously validate assumptions before committing engineering resources.
Agile Product Leadership
Lead backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
Work daily with:

Required Experience
8+ years product management for SaaS or cloud software
Experience launching commercial software products
Experience working directly with enterprise customers
Strong understanding of Agile product development
Experience leading cross-functional software teams
Proven success delivering customer-centric products

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 123800.00-230000.00
Compensation
This Other role pays $124k-$230k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
