Scrum Master – Analytics as a Service
Position Summary
The Scrum Master is responsible for enabling high-performing Agile delivery across Qualitrol's Analytics Incubator. Working closely with the Product Owner, Product Engineers, Data Science team and Customer Success organization, this individual ensures the incubator delivers customer value through disciplined Agile execution, continuous improvement and AI-enabled software development practices.
Unlike a traditional Scrum Master focused primarily on ceremonies, this role is expected to become an execution catalyst who continuously improves team velocity, engineering productivity and organizational agility while fostering a startup culture of ownership, transparency and rapid learning.
Primary Responsibilities
Agile Leadership
Facilitate:
Sprint Planning
Daily Stand-ups
Sprint Reviews
Retrospectives
Backlog Refinement
Quarterly Planning
Ensure Agile practices remain outcome-focused rather than process-driven.
Agile 6.0 Implementation
Champion Agile 6.0 principles by promoting:
Customer-centric planning
Continuous discovery
AI-assisted delivery
Cross-functional collaboration
Flow optimization
Frequent value delivery
Outcome-based measurement
Help the incubator continuously mature its Agile capabilities.
Team Effectiveness
Partner with Product Owner and Engineering leadership to:
Remove delivery impediments
Improve sprint predictability
Increase engineering throughput
Improve estimation quality
Reduce cycle times
Enhance team collaboration
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Develop dashboards measuring:
Sprint predictability
Lead time
Cycle time
Flow efficiency
Deployment frequency
Defect trends
Team health
Use data to drive continuous improvement.
AI-Enabled Delivery
Promote AI-assisted Agile practices including:
Automated backlog refinement
AI-generated sprint reporting
Delivery analytics
Knowledge management
Agile coaching assistants
Workflow automation
Support adoption of specification-driven, AI-assisted engineering practices across the incubator.
Required Experience
7+ years Scrum Master experience supporting software development teams
Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile certification
Experience leading Agile transformations
Experience with SaaS product development
Strong facilitation and coaching skills
Experience working with globally distributed teams
Preferred Experience
Experience with:
Agile 6.0
AI-assisted software development
Azure DevOps
Jira
Cloud-native software development
Product organizations
Startup or scale-up environments

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 83400.00-155000.00
Compensation
This Other role pays $83k-$155k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
