About the role
Reporting to a Partner, you will lead a team and manage a portfolio of clients across business advisory, compliance and management accounting services. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for client relationships, workflow management, team development and delivering practical commercial advice.
Key responsibilities
Manage and develop strong client relationships
Provide business advisory support, including process improvement, business planning and strategy
Oversee statutory compliance work including financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT and company secretarial matters
Review work for accuracy and completeness before Partner review
Manage workflow, job budgets, WIP, billings and collections
Allocate work across the team and monitor progress against deadlines and budgets
Lead, coach and develop team members through regular feedback and support
Review client budgets, cash flow and year-end tax planning requirements
Provide advice on indirect taxes including GST, FBT, payroll tax and stamp duties
Prepare and review management reports and client advice
Present to clients and contribute to business development activity
Skills and Experiences:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
3+ years’ management experience
Strong experience in business advisory and compliance within professional services
Strong client relationship and people leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach
