In this position...

As a key member of the Electronics Platform Architecture team, you will play a pivotal role in defining the complete electrical architecture for current and future vehicle platforms. Working closely with cross-functional software, hardware, and systems engineering teams, you will transform complex platform requirements into robust, scalable SysML models. Your work will directly define how vehicle systems interact, ensuring high performance, consistency, and seamless integration across next-generation mobility products.

You'll have...

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

Typically 2+ years of experience in systems, hardware, or software architecture design.

Typically 2+ years of hands-on experience using SysML (meta-models, system architecture design) and modeling environments such as MagicDraw / Cameo Systems Modeler or similar UML/SysML tools.

Solid understanding of the systems engineering V-model, physical/logical schematics, power distribution, and network topologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail regarding model consistency.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively explain complex architectural models to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Even better, you may have...

Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

5+ years of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Demonstrated experience with complex electrical architectures, embedded operating systems, computing hardware, and architectural simulation.

Proficiency with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and database software (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL).

Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, or Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC).

What you'll do...

Create, maintain, and release advanced electrical architecture models using SysML within the MagicDraw environment for current and future vehicle architectures.

Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems delivery teams to define clear system components, interfaces, relationships, and architectural stereotypes.

Identify, track, and drive the resolution of architectural open issues across cross-functional review forums and engineering stakeholders.

Support software, systems, and vehicle engineering teams through key product development milestones by releasing semantic-versioned architecture baselines and application-specific views.

Mentor and guide engineering team members on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) best practices, MagicDraw tool usage, and architectural data integrity.
