I'm working with a well-funded AI trading startup backed by some of Europe's top investors, looking for a Founding Platform Engineer to build and own the infrastructure powering live systematic trading.

What You'll Be Doing

Own and scale the production platform supporting live trading systems

Build resilient cloud infrastructure across multi-region AWS environments

Design deployment pipelines for research, models and trading strategies

Develop observability across infrastructure, execution and data quality

Improve resilience through failover, disaster recovery and operational readiness

Build the infrastructure that takes research into production safely

Own security, IAM, networking and secrets management

Help shape low-latency ML serving infrastructure and feature pipelines

What They're Looking For

Strong Platform, Infrastructure or SRE engineering background

Excellent Linux, networking and cloud fundamentals

Strong AWS experience (IAM, networking, compute, storage, observability)

Python experience, with Go, Rust or C++ beneficial

Kubernetes and Terraform experience

Experience with CI/CD and release engineering

Strong knowledge of Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis or ClickHouse

Experience operating production systems where reliability is business critical
