Reporting to the WRTW & Custom Jewerly Merchandising Director, the WRTW Collection Merchandising Manager will support in overseeing the WRTW category by developing the collections to fully address market opportunities while maintaining coherence in the brand image and standards of excellence.
Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Defining the collection’s structure, analyzing selling trends and evaluating possible style openings while assisting the Merchandising Director in liasing with the Design team
Monitoring competition and consolidating inputs coming from regions on business trends while anticipating new business opportunities for the category
Contributing to master order activities and key assortments by Retail and Wholesale to ensure a balanced global product mix and ensuring that market needs are incorporated in collection grids
Coordinating the advancements of the collection with the product development office on a constant basis
Participation in the organization of the sales campaigns and production of all supporting materials and buying tools
Defining coherent pricing and margin strategy within each collection and giving proper target cost prices while defining the grid in order to properly monitor the development of the collection
Managing the daily running of the business such as code creation process, product shootings, special orders follow-up, etc
Creating and constantly updating a reliable sales analysis of all product information to be shared with key stakeholders both sell in data and sell out data
Collaborating with internal departments on the presentation of the collection to the customer providing the interpretative key on the marketability of products and related product categories
Collaborating with the Training department on development of training manuals and presentations with detailed product information on each collection for regional buyers
Defining markdown list and life cycle products
KEY REQUIREMENTS
At least 6-8 years of relevant experience as a senior merchandiser in the fashion/luxury goods industry
Educational background preferably in business management or similar
Fluency in English
Strong product sensitivity and passion for the WRTW category
Very strong communicative skills to liaise with different departments that have different communicative needs
Very flexible mindset and adaptive personality
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ambition to exceed corporate goals and go the extra mile in daily work
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Salary Package
Gross Annual Salary : 55.000€ (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, should specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
NCBA (National Collective Bargaining Agreement) : CCNL Industria Pelli e Succedanei (unique alphanumeric code: D111)
Bonuses and Commissions : Annual Target Bonus as per company policies and regulations in force from time to time, up to 15% of the Gross Annual Salary.
