Backend Engineering

Strong experience in either:

Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut), or

.NET / C# (.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API)

Experience building enterprise-grade APIs and distributed systems.

Strong understanding of:

REST APIs

Microservices

Event-driven architecture

Service integration patterns

Authentication and authorisation (OAuth2, OAuth, JWT)

Agentic AI & LLM Engineering

Experience delivering a productionised Agentic AI use case.

Demonstrated experience with:

LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)

Tool calling and workflow orchestration

RAG architectures

Vector databases

Prompt engineering

Agent frameworks

AI evaluation and testing

Understanding of AI governance, security, reliability, and operational considerations.
