CNC Programmer/Operator Afternoon Shift

Answer Precision Technologies (APT) is a rapidly growing automation and equipment manufacturer specializing in advanced Assembly Automation Systems, Precision Checking Fixtures, and Mould Tooling. We build complex, custom solutions - and no two projects are the same.
We’re looking for a highly experienced CNC Programmer/Operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-mix environment and enjoys creating new programs daily.
This is an afternoon shift position from 3:00pm to 1:30am, Monday – Thursday!
We are hiring for one position!
What You’ll Do
Program and run CNC machines (3-axis & 5-axis)
Develop programs using Cimatron
Interpret CAD drawings and apply GD&T
Set up tooling and optimize machining processes
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and toolmakers
Support continuous improvement and mentor junior team members
What You Bring
5+ years of custom CNC programming experience
Strong 3-axis and 5-axis machining background
Proficiency in Cimatron is preferred
Expertise in blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurement
Experience with gauges, fixtures, moulds, jigs, dies, and automation components

Able to commute to the Kitchener location
