Salary: £25,000–£27,000 per year, dependent on experience

Work Location: Harborne, Birmingham

The Organisation

N & S Consultants is one of the UK’s leading medical expert private practices, operating under several brands including Medical Expert Chambers and Psychiatry Experts, established in 2004.

We work with a large client base of legal professionals and a wide network of medical experts across the UK. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and organised graduate to join our team in a role focused primarily on administration, communication, onboarding and the coordination of medical professionals joining our medico-legal panel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to develop a career in recruitment, HR, compliance, administration, operations or healthcare business support. You will work closely with the wider team and gain recruitment experience.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive, organised and detail-focused Graduate Recruitment Coordinator to support the recruitment and onboarding of doctors, including psychiatrists and other medical specialists.

The role is primarily administrative and coordination based. You will help ensure that doctors receive a professional and well-organised experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, updating CRM systems, coordinating onboarding and compliance requirements, managing communications and supporting recruitment activity. Previous recruitment experience is not essential, but you should be confident communicating with people, comfortable using technology and eager to learn.

As you develop in the role, there may also be opportunities to gain experience in candidate sourcing and potentially business development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administration & Communication

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM systems, databases, spreadsheets and internal trackers.

Manage day-to-day communication with doctors and medical professionals by email and telephone.

Respond to queries and provide clear information about the company, the onboarding process and our services.

Schedule and coordinate meetings and interviews with doctors and senior members of the team.

Maintain organised records of communications, actions and outstanding tasks.

Liaise with internal team members to ensure information and actions are communicated effectively.

Provide regular updates to the line manager on progress, outstanding actions and priorities.

2. Onboarding & Compliance

Coordinate the onboarding process for doctors joining the company's medico-legal panel.

Manage onboarding checklists and ensure required information and documentation is received, recorded and kept up to date.

Issue contracts and other relevant documentation, monitor progress and follow up where necessary.

Ensure information is entered accurately and consistently across relevant systems.

Track outstanding actions and ensure follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.

Support the maintenance of accurate compliance and professional records.

Help ensure the onboarding process is efficient, organised and provides a positive experience for doctors.

3. Recruitment Support & Sourcing & Panel Development

Research and identify suitable doctors based on specialty, location and experience.

Maintain accurate records of recruitment activity and support the development of recruitment pipelines.

Support sourcing activity using platforms such as LinkedIn, professional directories, job boards and other online resources.

Assist with email and telephone outreach to potential medical experts as your experience develops.

Support the development of effective onboarding and recruitment processes as the department grows.

Research and identify potential clients or sources of work to help ensure that doctors joining our panel are able to develop a suitable level of medico-legal work.

Sourcing and cold outreach will form a smaller part of the role, with the primary focus being administration, professional communication, onboarding and coordination. As your knowledge and experience develop, there may be opportunities to gain exposure to business development and contribute to the growth of new services or business opportunities.
