We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Estimator who can successfully manage restoration and reconstruction projects from the initial customer meeting through final completion and payment.

This is not simply an estimating position - you will own the business success of each project.

Position Summary

The Project Manager / Estimator serves as the primary point of contact for assigned residential and commercial restoration projects. Responsibilities include business development, estimating, customer communication, budgeting, project management, subcontractor coordination, change order management, and overall project profitability.

You'll work closely with customers, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal production teams while exercising independent judgment to ensure every project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and with an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

Scope and estimate residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects.

Develop Xactimate estimates, supplements, and change orders.

Build and maintain relationships with customers, insurance professionals, and referral partners.

Negotiate project scope and pricing.

Develop and manage project budgets.

Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, permits, and inspections.

Monitor project profitability and implement corrective actions when needed.

Conduct regular customer communications throughout the project.

Perform final walkthroughs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with Production, Customer Care, Business Development, and Accounting to deliver outstanding results.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of restoration, reconstruction, insurance estimating, or construction project management experience.

Strong Xactimate estimating skills.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven ability to build customer relationships and close projects.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Strong financial and organizational skills.

Self-motivated with excellent time management.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Restoration industry experience.

Experience with Xcelerate or similar project management software.

IICRC Certifications (WTR, ASD, SRT, AMRT).

Project Management certification.
